Toyota Zenix Q HEV vs V CVT: gasoline alone does not identify the powertrain

A fuel-type column that says gasoline does not distinguish the two Zenix cards on Toyota Motor Philippines’ page. Both cards use that fuel label, but the Q HEV names a hybrid engine and the V names a different engine code.

Manufacturer card distinctions
Field 2.0 Q HEV CVT 2.0 V CVT
Engine M20A-FXS Hybrid M20A-FKS
Fuel label Gasoline Gasoline
Wheel entry 18-inch alloy 17-inch alloy
Drive-mode card Eco + Power Eco

These are identity fields from the local page, not an independently measured economy or performance comparison. A buyer should retain HEV and the engine code instead of reducing both offers to Zenix gasoline CVT.

Make the comparison answer the purchase question

Ask the seller for the exact variant, applicable model-year specification and included equipment. Then list the features needed for the actual task and check them against the corresponding column. Do not transfer a seating, camera or other equipment entry from the Q card into a V quotation.

For a power comparison, preserve the source’s engine, motor and total-system headings if supplied. Do not add separately labelled output figures and call the sum a manufacturer system rating. This article deliberately gives no claimed fuel saving, battery range or ownership-cost forecast.

Keep the offered unit and the catalogue aligned

Have any missing or conflicting field clarified in the written offer. Current price, delivery and after-sales terms require their own dated response; a financing illustration on a product page is not that offer.

No vehicle was driven or tested. The practical correction is specific: gasoline is a fuel label, while the full Zenix variant and engine code identify the powertrain being compared.
