Auto Parts Sourcing & Fitment in Southeast Asia
Compare replacement parts by exact vehicle application, product identity and seller evidence. A familiar brand name or a low quotation does not establish fitment, authenticity or local availability.
Questions to resolve before committing
Will this part fit my vehicle?
Record the VIN where appropriate, model year, engine or transmission variant, destination market and original part reference. Ask the manufacturer catalogue or authorised support channel to match the exact application. An OE cross-reference is a starting point; do not assume every variant is interchangeable.
How should I compare two quotations?
Put manufacturer, exact SKU, quantity, condition, included hardware, warranty provider, delivery location and quotation expiry into separate fields. Keep unlike products on separate rows. Ask for written explanations of substitutions rather than treating a similar photograph as the same part.
Does packaging prove authenticity?
Packaging is one piece of information, not a universal authenticity test. Compare the physical product, supplier identity and brand-specific verification instructions. Keep the invoice and batch or serial information when available; use the brand’s own contact channel for an unresolved concern.
Evidence to keep in your comparison
| Check | Record | Do not substitute |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Vehicle/engine variant and market | A generic model name |
| Identity | Manufacturer SKU, reference and product record | A look-alike image |
| Commercial terms | Quantity, warranty, delivery and expiry | An undated unit price |
Our editorial method: retain the original file or source link, the date checked and a short note about what it establishes. Mark unresolved points explicitly. This is a practical record method, not a claim that DFC Cari inspected the product or completed the transaction.
