Hino Built to Go: distinguish a completed truck from body production

Hino Philippines’ Quality Body page describes fully built units under Built to Go and a separate fast-body-production offer. These descriptions represent different purchasing stages; neither programme name alone confirms that a particular vehicle is sitting in dealer stock.

The page associates fully built 200 Series units with 10-foot body options. It describes fast body production for named 300 Series applications, with 11-, 14- and 15-foot entries in its applicability chart. The exact model and body combination still belongs in the written offer.

Ask about the build stage first

  1. Identify the complete chassis model and proposed rear-body type.
  2. Ask whether the quote concerns an already completed unit or production work still to be done.
  3. Request the actual body specification, included fittings and relevant build documents.
  4. Obtain the supplier’s dated delivery commitment rather than interpreting fast as a fixed number of days.

This helps separate two otherwise similar totals. One may include a completed vehicle; another may include a chassis plus future body fabrication. Price alone cannot reveal that distinction.

Use the applicability chart as an index

A chart entry helps identify the combination to enquire about. It does not replace the drawing, establish usable internal dimensions or certify a finished vehicle for a customer’s purpose. Where a chart row is incomplete or spans several models, ask for the specific model sheet rather than carrying a neighbouring value across the row.

The manufacturer states that Hino-manufactured rear bodies are warranty protected. This article does not decide the term, exclusions or a claim for an actual order. Ask for the applicable written coverage and responsibility for both chassis and body.

A clear enquiry records what has been built, what remains to be supplied and who confirms delivery. That is more informative than repeating a programme’s speed claim as an independently verified lead time.

Manufacturer sources read 19 October 2026. This is a document-based purchasing guide, not a hands-on test, installation instruction or confirmation of current stock. Exact local application and offer terms need the supplier’s written confirmation.
