The FJ 2828C and FJ 2828R appear beside one another in FUSO Philippines’ heavy-duty index. Both are labelled ten-wheelers with 28T GVW. That shared headline does not identify the same body application: the C entry is labelled Construction, while the R entry is labelled Rigid.
The suffix changes the enquiry
The index gives the 2828R a 32-footer description. It does not provide that same body-length entry for the 2828C card. A buyer should not copy a dimension from the R card into a construction quote simply because both names begin FJ 2828.
| Level | 2828C enquiry | 2828R enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Exact model | FJ 2828C | FJ 2828R |
| Maker’s application label | Construction | Rigid |
| Body proposal | Request the actual body/build specification | Record the quoted body and dimensions, not just 32-footer |
A completed quote should separately identify the chassis, body builder, installed equipment and supporting documents. The index is useful for rejecting an ambiguous model description, but it is not a body drawing or a delivered-vehicle inspection.
Compare the supplied work, not just the headline tonnage
Ask both sellers to describe what their total includes: chassis only or a finished vehicle, named equipment, delivery scope and written after-sales terms. Mark missing items as unresolved rather than adding an assumed standard package. GVW is not cargo capacity, and neither the model label nor a photograph establishes the suitability of a construction attachment.
The result is a pair of comparable document sets. It is not a recommendation that one truck can substitute for the other, nor a finding about availability or operational performance.
Manufacturer sources read 19 October 2026. This is a document-based purchasing guide, not a hands-on test, installation instruction or confirmation of current stock. Exact local application and offer terms need the supplier’s written confirmation.
