PROTON’s Malaysian All-New X50 page identifies an i-GT 1.5TD engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Those names are a useful starting point for an enquiry, but a model-family page should not replace the exact variant and model version in an offer.
Give each claim an identity
A useful quote comparison has one row per offered vehicle, not one row for every item called X50. Put the country and full variant designation at the start. Then copy the engine and transmission wording with the source date, leaving any unconfirmed field open.
| Field | How to record it |
|---|---|
| Source market | Malaysia |
| Source model page | All-New X50, checked 19 October 2026 |
| Engine description | i-GT 1.5TD on that page |
| Transmission description | Seven-speed DCT on that page |
| Offered variant and version | The seller’s exact identification, independently matched to its specification |
Do not copy every illustrated feature into every variant’s column. A page can present the range through a showcase vehicle, while an individual offer needs its own equipment mapping. Where that mapping is missing, ask the supplier for the applicable current specification rather than choosing a trim by appearance.
Separate the car from the quotation
Compare included accessories, the offer’s date and the seller’s identity in separate fields. A manufacturer’s family-page price or promotion is not a complete supplier quotation. We have not verified a seller’s stock, delivery date, financing or an individual vehicle.
The same column discipline is used in our Malaysian Honda City variant comparison. See Buying Guides for related records.
