PROTON e.MAS 5 Singapore launch: keep export-market sources separate

PROTON’s 9 July 2026 announcement says the e.MAS 5 was launched in Singapore through VINCAR Group. It identifies a specific export market and distributor. A researcher comparing Malaysian and Singaporean offers should retain that distinction instead of placing both countries’ material under one unqualified e.MAS 5 heading.

Build a market-specific source bundle

Question Evidence to keep with the answer
Was a launch announced? The dated manufacturer announcement and named market
Which local version is offered? The applicable distributor’s version and specification record
What is included in an offer today? The current itemised offer and its validity period
What support terms apply? The actual local terms for the proposed vehicle and purchaser

The launch record supplies the first answer. It should not silently fill the remaining rows. Matching a model name across two countries does not establish identical equipment, bundles or support conditions.

Keep July benefits in July

The release also describes buyer benefits at launch. We do not reproduce them as a current October offer. A dated commercial announcement can establish what was announced then without proving that every term remains available now.

If an offer matters to a purchase, obtain the current local document and compare its date, issuer and exact vehicle identification with the launch record. Where those documents disagree, preserve the difference rather than copying the more attractive wording. This is an evidence-organising method, not an interpretation of warranty or finance rights.
